INT - RUBI'S BEDROOM
RUBI
I guess all that adventuring tuckered you out. Good. Maybe you won’t chew my nightstand.
Rubi gets in bed and immediately falls asleep. The Grimoire is on her nightstand. A moment passes and it starts to glow again. Jackson barks.
RUBI
Jackson no. Shhhh.
Jackson keeps growling and the grimore glow fades again. He jumps into the bed near Rubi’s feet, under the covers. Kinda scared of the book and whimpers. Rubi doesn’t notice.
