Dear M(r)s Hodge, dear Mr Starke,
I’ve long followed Candi with great pleasure, and was quite sad when it ended. (Not criticizing you in any way, Starline, it’s your story and yours to do what you want and need with. Please take that comment as a homage to the excellence of the characters, because that’s what caused my sadness.)
I’ve only recently finished bingeing on Rubi Whipple and I love it just as much! I still miss a bit of Candi’s innocence (most characters here are older and more experienced, with a few more scars), but other than that the whole cast is wonderful. I loved how Euphros took off her all-wise, all-powerful stance as soon as she had her come-down customer in her arms.
(I have a special liking for Jemma, who physically reminds me of a very good friend, one of the most awfully nice persons I’ve ever met. Character-wise too, I think.)
All the best for the road onwards, which should still be long (all the way through the Solar System) and beautiful!
Oh, and I love how Marie instantly cared for Rubi everything instead of yelling traitor. They may still have words about that (they should, I think), but I love that it wasn’t her priority.
