MARIE
What do you want to do? Wait a few weeks while she keeps taking our customers?

RUBI
That’s not what I’m saying.

MARIE
Because that’s what’s going to happen.

RUBI
Marie, that’s not what I’m saying. I know you’re worked up and… and frustrated. I’m frustrated too. But let’s just slow down. Take a breath.

MARIE
You can stay out here and breathe if you want, Rubi.

She grabs the handle of the door. The final candles go out. It’s pitch black.

The door creaks open. A soft voice emanates out of the darkness.
